East China’s Jiangsu province has donated materials to the victims of the 6.2 magnitude earthquake in Jishishan county, Gansu Province.
Bosideng Group has launched an emergency mechanism by loading and transporting donated 20-million-yuan worth of goods on Tuesday evening to urgently aid the earthquake-stricken areas, sending warmth and care from Jiangsu to the people and rescue workers in the quake-stricken areas.
On Wednesday morning, Suzhou Kunshan Liufeng Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. donated nearly 500 sets of folding beds and bedding to the Gansu Charity Association.
Wuxi Charity Federation sent 500 sets of rescue supplies such as marching beds, sleeping bags, emergency kits, carpets, etc. to the disaster area.
Social organizations in China have promptly responded to the earthquake in Gansu and Qinghai provinces by sending relief supplies for rescue work at the frontline.
The 6.2-magnitude earthquake that occurred in Gansu and Qinghai provinces at midnight Monday caused over 130 deaths.
According to the National Meteorological Center, the temperature in the area is expected to reach -14 to one degrees in the next three days.
