1999年，24岁的法国小伙儿傅雷（Emmanuel Le Flem）来到镇江，成为法国阿雷蒙集团的一名工程师。他本来打算两年任期结束就回国，没想到一住就是19年。如今，傅雷已成为阿雷蒙企业管理咨询（上海）有限公司首席执行官。
Emmanuel Le Flem of France came to Zhenjiang city, Jiangsu province to work as an engineer of ARaymond Network in 1999, when he was 24 years old.
He had planned to return to France at the end of his two-year term. After living in China for 19 years, however, Le Flem, now CEO of ARaymond Enterprise Management Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, regards Jiangsu as his "second home".

“江苏太美！来了就不想走”
来中国工作时，傅雷本来可以去北京，但他还是决定来江苏。傅雷解释说：“对我们欧洲人来说，江苏有独特的魅力。悠久历史与人文景观交融，古典园林、古镇水乡、都城遗址……实在太美了！这就是当初我选择这里的原因。”
“Jiangsu has unique charms for its long history, great landscape, classical gardens and ancient water towns, to name a few. That’s why I came to beautiful Jiangsu,” said Le Flem.
历史和文化完美融合、经济快速发展，让他“来了就不想走。”傅雷感叹：“这些年，江苏变化翻天覆地，很难一一列举，但是印象最深的还是高铁，简直就是奇迹。从南京出发，20分钟到镇江，一小时到上海......江苏的历史吸引我来到这里，江苏的发展让我留在这里。”
The history and culture of Jiangsu attracted Le Flem to visit, but it’s the province’s development that draws him to stay.
“Jiangsu has a long list of great changes, but what impresses me most is the fast-developing infrastructures, highways, bridges, tunnels, etc. And the high-speed rail is one of the miracles,” Le Flem added.
傅雷告诉记者，阿雷蒙集团在镇江有10多位外国员工，他们来之前总有一些顾虑，但是在这里生活一段时间之后都不想离开。
ARaymond has more than 10 foreign employees working in Zhenjiang. Once they settled down, they don’t want to leave because of the company's continuous development, the comfortable life here, and safe environment for the children.
“公司稳步发展，生活环境舒适，对我的孩子们来说，这里也更安全。”傅雷希望更多外国人来这里，“眼见为实，中国到底好不好，自己来看一看就知道了。”
“Jiangsu is the right place to stay. You can see it by yourself,” said Le Flem.

“发展太快！两三天的销售额相当于过去一年”
说起在江苏的发展，傅雷颇为自豪。他介绍说，阿雷蒙集团是世界最大的汽车紧固件供应商之一。1996年，阿雷蒙在镇江设立合资公司，经过22年发展，阿雷蒙在镇江已有5家独资公司、一家合资公司，总投资额4600万欧元，员工600余人。
Founded in 1865 in southeastern French city Grenoble, ARaymond is a worldwide leader holding a real expertise in fastening and assembly solution, mainly serving automotive market.
In 1996, ARaymond established a joint venture company in Zhenjiang, and it now boasts five wholly-owned companies and a joint venture company, which have a total investment of 46 million euros and over 600 employees.
2017年，阿雷蒙在中国的销售收入达8亿元。“如今，我们两三天的销售额就与1999年全年相当，这在以前是难以想象的。”
In 2017, ARaymond’s sales revenue in China reached 800 million yuan. “Today, ARaymond Zhenjiang's sales in two to three days are equivalent to that of the whole year in 1999, which was hard to imagine in the past,” said Le Flem.
傅雷把公司取得的成绩归因于改革开放。“以前多少人有私家车？现在，每个中国家庭有1—2辆私家车也不稀奇。以前道路坑坑洼洼、尘土飞扬，现在四通八达、干净整洁，想不发展都难。”
With the improvement of people's living standards and the auto sector’s development, hundreds of thousands of families began purchasing cars after 2000, leading to a major change in lifestyle.
随着人民生活水平的提高，私家车在2000年后驶进千家万户，带来生活方式大变革，越来越多的家庭选择自驾游。日益完善的交通运输体系也促进了汽车工业大发展，目前江苏省公路总里程已达15.7万公里，高速公路面积密度居全国之首，实现县级节点全覆盖。
Now more and more families choose to drive by themselves for travelling. Meanwhile, progress in infrastructure has also driven the growth of automotive industry.
“发展快，离不开改革开放这个大背景，是改革开放为我们注入了强劲动力。”
"The reform and opening up has injected strong momentum into the entire auto sector," Le Flem said.
傅雷还注意到，如今消费者已不再像以前那样只满足于买辆私家车，而是有更多个性化需求。
"Having higher requirements for cars, consumers are no longer satisfied with buying a mass-produced vehicle like in the past," Le Flem added.
针对多样化的消费趋势，阿雷蒙制定本土化发展策略，生产和技术本土化，同时加大研发投入。目前镇江分公司共有36名工程师，每年3%的年销售额投入到研发中。
In response to diversified consumer needs, ARaymond has developed a localization strategy, with localization of both production and technology, and also increased investment in research and development.
At present, ARaymond Zhenjiang has a total of 36 engineers, and the R&D investment accounts for 3 percent of annual sales.
随着公司发展壮大，增加人才储备提上日程。今年1月8日，江苏大学、法国ESTIA工程师学院与阿雷蒙合作签订中法工程师联合培养三方协议，为学生提供国际化教育和实践平台，培养具有国际竞争力的工程师。
The demand for local talents has also increased. On January 8 this year, ARaymond, Jiangsu University and ESTIA (the Institute of Advanced Industrial Technologies) in France signed an agreement to provide students with globalized education and practices, with the aim of cultivating engineers with international competitiveness.
未来更好，更加开放的举措带来更多红利
在苏19年，傅雷对营商环境的变化深有体会。“从靠优惠政策吸引外资，到更注重改善营商环境，表明中国开放环境日趋成熟。”
Le Flem thinks that China’s market is becoming more and more open with the foreign investor-friendly business environment.
傅雷认为，制度创新与更多开放举措为外资企业发展带来新的契机，新版外商投资准入负面清单发布，减税降费方面对中外企业一视同仁……中国经济发展的列车正驶入高层次开放型经济新阶段。
每周乘高铁往返于上海和镇江，傅雷深有感触：“搭乘‘中国号’列车，我们外资企业可以和中国经济一起奔跑。中国扩大开放，这是一件好事，未来共享互惠会更多，领域更为宽广。”
Among the new moves, China has released a new negative list for foreign investment in the country's pilot free trade zones, and the policy to reduce the tax and fees charged to businesses will be equally applied to Chinese and foreign companies. China’s economy growth has entered a new stage of opening up.
随着绿色环保理念深入人心，阿雷蒙也在加强新能源汽车配件研发。阿雷蒙与法国雷迪埃集团合资成立雷迪奥汽车内联技术（镇江）有限公司，发力新能源汽车市场，公司生产的高速数据连接器、新能源充电连接器及组件等产品已被众多汽车生产商采用。
As the public is getting more aware of environmental protection, ARaymond is also strengthening the R&D of new energy auto parts.
Raydiall Automotive Interconnections Solutions (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd., a joint venture by ARaymond and the Raydiall Group of France has tapped the market with its high-speed data connectors and new energy charging devices.
展望未来，傅雷对中国市场充满信心。他透露，阿雷蒙正在规划新厂房，预计2020年投入使用，届时产能将提高10%。“我们希望在江苏取得更大发展，共享经济发展成果。”
Looking forward to the future, Le Flem is full of confidence in the Chinese market. He said a new plant is expected to be put into use by 2020, with a capacity increase of 10 percent.
