The Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Supervisory Committee held an executive meeting to convey the spirit of the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during the annual two sessions, study the Constitution and the National Supervision Law, exchange experiences, and draft plans for the implementation.
Jiang Zhuoqing, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Director of the Provincial Supervisory Commission, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
The provincial discipline inspection chief emphasized that the first session of the 13th National People's Congress reviewed and adopted the amendment to the Constitution, established the guiding position of Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era in the country's political and social life, strengthened the authority and unified, centralized leadership of the CPC, gave the constitutional status of the Supervisory Committee as a state agency, reviewed and passed the State Supervision Law, making the party's claim through a legal process a national will, providing a fundamental basis for deepening the country's supervision system reform and ensuring that all levels of inspection committees perform their duties according to law.
Jiang demanded that the discipline inspection and supervision organs at all levels of the province must strengthen the study and training, and guide the disciplinary inspection and supervision of cadres to take the lead in studying the law, respecting the law and observing the law, adding that it is necessary to focus on the key issues, review the investigation according to law, deepen the supervision function, and improve the quality of the contingent of cadres.
