Tourist attractions in Jiangsu province have launched a variety of activities by combining tourism leisure and cultural experiences to bring tourists a unique travel experience.
The Changzhou Lantern Festival kicked off last Friday at the tourist resort of the China Dinosaur Park, with over a hundred sets of lamps lighting up one after another to create a beautiful winter scenery.
The dragon-shaped Changzhou lantern set is made of a colorful auspicious dragon that stretches 35 meters long and 15 meters high.
The "Flying Wing Dragon" lantern set located in the central square, with nearly 10 meters long "Wing Dragon" spreading its wings and hovering in the sky, evokes the illusion of returning to the Jurassic era.
The lantern festival also showcased the theme light sets reproduced from the works of young painters in Changzhou, as well as the Jurassic era theme light and shadow show.
Yangzhou has launched the 2023 Slender West Lake Winter Culture and Art Festival, where tourists sit around the stove, enjoy tea and scenery, exchange ancient poems, and experience the leisure and elegance of winter.
This art festival combines the beautiful scenery of Slender West Lake with the trend of internet celebrities by incorporating brewing tea in a furnace, intangible cultural heritage painting fans, and traditional Chinese music appreciation. The event will continue until January 31, 2024.
The Huaiju Town in Jianhu County has developed the night economy by allowing tourists to experience a unique historical charm. The town has also created multi-dimensional immersive cultural and tourism routes by integrating Huai opera, acrobatics, and intangible cultural heritage cuisine.
“Our town has integrated traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage projects such as Huai Opera and acrobatics into the on-site performances, bringing visitors a different experience and perception,” said Chen Shanshan, Head of the Performance Department of Huaiju Town, Jianhu County.
