East China’s Jiangsu province held job fairs during the National Day holiday in a bid to promote high quality development by helping more people get employed in their hometowns. Let’s take a close look.

38 companies in Huai'an showed up at a job fair held during the National Day holiday, offering nearly a thousand job vacancies in industries such as food manufacturing, e-commerce, new materials, and supermarket retail.

“I returned to my hometown in September after serving in Jiangxi for 8 years. I want to find a job in Huai'an, so I came to the job fair today and wanted to give it a try,” said a job seeker.

During the National Day holiday, Funing County held job fairs and released recruitment information, promoted employment, social security, and training policies and gave quick response to job application.

Binhai County set up consultation desks at the job fair to provide policy support in areas such as employment and entrepreneurship, social security, and legal aid, enhancing job seekers' sense of gain and security.

“In densely-populated areas, we made every effort to promote corporate recruitment information and launch various "online" recruitment forms to promote precise docking between both parties, helping enterprises recruit labor and attract talents,” said Li Lijun, Deputy Director of Labor and Employment Management Department, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Binhai County.

The employment service station in Xinhai Sub-district, Haizhou District, Lianyungang has set up a consultation desk to facilitate face-to-face communication between job seekers and employers so as to help them gain a deeper understanding of each other's needs.

The human resources and social security department of Jurong City held a "talent recruitment night market" in densely-populated areas by organizing dozens of recruitment units to provide various types of employment and internship vacancies.
