The Audit Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee held a meeting on Wednesday to review the Work Summary of the Audit Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee in 2022 and Key Points of Work in 2023. Wu Zhenglong, secretary of the provincial party committee and director of the provincial audit committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Xu Kunlin, Deng Xiuming, Wang Changshong and Fei Gaoyun, deputy directors of the provincial audit committee, attended the meeting.
Next year will be the first year to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making it of great significance to strengthen the audit work by taking the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress as the main line of work, according to a statement released after the meeting.
Efforts should be made to enhance political stance, gain insight into the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era, the statement said.
We must fully and accurately implement the new development concept, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, promote high-quality development, create a high-quality life for the people, comprehensively improve the ability and level of audit work, and make new and greater contributions to comprehensively promoting the new practice of Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu on the new journey, said the statement.
We must comply with the requirements of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, adhere to promoting high-quality development, implement the policies and measures of the Central Committee, strengthen natural resource assets, major industrial projects, major infrastructure, green and low-carbon development, safeguard and improve people's livelihood, food, energy, government debt, and play the role of key links such as financial capital allocation, disposal of state-owned assets, state-owned enterprise debt, public resource transactions, project approval and supervision, according to the statement.
We must strive to adapt to the new journey and new requirements, continue to deepen the reform of the audit system, continue to promote the modernization of the audit supervision system and supervision capacity, accelerate the construction of a centralized, unified, comprehensive, authoritative and efficient audit supervision system, promote the integration and coordination of audit supervision and various types of supervision, deeply study and adopt the suggestions put forward in the audit process, improve the policies, measures and rules in various fields, and create a good environment for the audit work.
