East China’s Jiangsu province has launched a variety of job fairs to help college graduates and needy people to get employed in the new year.
At a job fair in Nanjing, 20 companies provided more than 1,000 vacancies, including 175 public welfare jobs, involving service, retail, production and processing industries, with a monthly salary of around 4,000 yuan.
These positions are aimed at persons with employment difficulties, members of zero-employment families, unemployed persons with disabilities and ex-Yangtze River fishermen.
