The rail-sea freight train from Lianyungang of Jiangsu to Lanzhou of Gansu departed from the Lianyungang Sino-Kazakhstan Logistics Cooperation Base on Saturday, and will arrive at the Lanzhou land port in three days.
Enjoying a prominent strategic position in the new development pattern of domestic and international economic circulation, Jiangsu and Gansu have made substantial progress in forming major international trade channels by sea and rail freight. Lianyungang and Lanzhou signed a strategic agreement on regional cooperation and development in the new era, and Jiangsu Gansu Logistics Supply Chain Co., Ltd. was unveiled simultaneously. The two countries will carry out in-depth cooperation in business logistics, cultural tourism, and talent exchange so as to jointly build a new hub for maritime freight along the "Belt and Road".
