The “SHOW JIANGSU” Photography Project Exhibition was held in Jiangsu Art Museum on Sunday. Zhang Aijun, Director of the Provincial Publicity Department and the member of the standing committee of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Gong Xixiang, secretary-general of Xinhua News Agency, opened the exhibition.
"SHOW JIANGSU" is one of Jiangsu’s brand activities in telling Jiangsu stories to the world. The activity will invite photographers from news agencies around the world to showcase Jiangsu’s beautiful landscape and people to the world.
Over the past three years, photographers from more than 30 news agencies, including AFP, Euronews, Kyodo News and Getty Images have been invited to Jiangsu. They have taken various pictures to reflect on the topics of “30 years of China’s reform and opening-up”, “70 years of China’s development” and “China’s efforts in building a well-off society”.
Their photos have been published in more than 600 media organizations, covering nearly 200 million people around the world. The 100 photos on display this time are selected from more than 3,000 photos.
