Second-hand vehicle transactions continued to rebound last year with 14.341 million second-hand vehicles traded, the Ministry of Commerce said on Wednesday. The value of transactions or service activities generated during the use of sold cars exceeds RMB 1 trillion.

According to statistics from the China Automobile Dealers Association, in 2020, 14.341 million second-hand vehicles were traded with a transaction volume of 888.84 billion yuan, indicating a continuing recovery.

In 2020, 2.398 million scrapped motor vehicles were recycled and disassembled, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, statistics from the Ministry of Commerce show.
