The General Office of the Provincial Government issued the “Notice on the Key Points of Deepening the Reform of streamlining the government, delegating power, and improving government services in Jiangsu in 2021” with a view to optimizing the business environment through the introduction of 40 key tasks that are intended to accelerate the transformation of government functions and better integrate effective markets.
Before the end of this year, Jiangsu will separate licenses and permit for business operation, explore and promote the reform of one license for one industry in a bid to integrate multiple licenses required for access.
The province will continue to promote "Internet + supervision", establish a production safety monitoring and early warning platform in key industries such as hazardous chemical production and transportation and coal mines, integrate information access from the grid-based social governance center, and monitor enterprise key risk sensor data in real time.
Jiangsu will improve the five-level government service system at the province, prefecture, county, township, and village levels in terms of the application for opening restaurants and hotels, registration of birth certificates for newborns, registration of demobilized soldiers through one form and one application with a designated time frame.
Reforms will also be made in the trans-regional registration of industrial product production license, medical expense settlement, social security card application, household registration migration within this year.
