Members of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference went on an inspection tour Tuesday and Wednesday in north Jiangsu to check the progress of rural housing renovation. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the Provincial CPPCC Committee, headed the inspection team.
Huang Lixin and the members of the Provincial CPPCC Committee visited rural communities in Xuyi County, Jinhu County and Hongze District.
Huang Lixin pointed out that accelerating the close integration of the improvement of rural housing conditions and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy should focus on integrating the characteristics of rural ecology, culture, and industry so that a number of new rural communities with distinctive Jianghuai characteristics will be created.
When presiding over a symposium, Huang Lixin called for further efforts to study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches during his recent inspection tour in Jiangsu, promote scientific planning, highlight distinctive features, maintain overall coordination, seek practical efficiency and strive to be the demonstrative leaders so as to make greater contribution to the construction of a new Jiangsu.
