The 19th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th Provincial People's Congress held the second plenary meeting Wednesday afternoon in Nanjing.
Li Xiaomin, Executive Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress presided over the meeting.
Present at the meeting were deputy Directors of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, Wang Yanwen, Chen Zhenning, Xu Zhongzi, Xing Chunning, Liu Handong, Wei Guoqiang, Qu Futian and Secretary General Chen Mengmeng.
Vice Governor Hui Jianlin, Chief Prosecutor Liu Hua of the Provincial Procuratorate and leading officials of the Provincial Supervision Committee attended the meeting as non-voting members.
The provincial government submitted a proposal to the meeting to grant the title of "Honorary Resident of Jiangsu Province" to Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group and 9 other expatriates.
The leading officials of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission made reports on the development of the village-level collective economy, on the promotion of the construction of a strong tourism province, and on the implementation of the "Outline of the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Development Plan".
The meeting of directors of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress submitted the "Draft Decision of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress on Convening the Fourth Session of the Thirteenth People's Congress of Jiangsu Province".
The provincial government submitted to the meeting feedback reports on the 2019 provincial fiscal final accounts report and audit work report, the report on the construction of the urban and rural social assistance system, and the implementation of the review opinions on the innovation-driven development strategy and the implementation of the Science and Technology Progress Law.
