Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group led the country’s ranking of top 100 pharmaceutical companies in 2019, according to a list released recently by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is the sixth consecutive year for the pharmaceutical giant to be awarded with the honor.
In 2012, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group established a corporate chief quality officer system and implemented an excellent performance management model, requiring each chief quality officer to actively participate in the formulation and implementation of corporate quality strategies and the construction of corporate quality culture.
With quality awareness running through all links in the entire production and management process, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group has won the first prize of the National Pharmaceutical Industry QC Achievement Appraisal for 16 consecutive years and won 20 international QC gold awards.
Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group is also the primary drafter of the Requirements for the Quality Risk Control System for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in collaboration with the Shanghai Institute of Quality Management Science.
The document was among the ninth batch of provincial catalogue for local standards released by the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervisory Administration last April.
Being Jiangsu's first local standard for quality management system formulated by a pharmaceutical company, this standard was promoted and applied in the province's pharmaceutical system last May.
