The city of Changzhou launched a contract-signing ceremony recently to kick off the construction of its high-speed rail town.
30 major investment projects were signed to bring 20.7 billion yuan in total capital to spur the development modern service industry, smart energy industry, new generation information technology industry, and life and health industry. The high-speed rail town covers 56 square kilometers with an expected population of 420 thousand. It will become an important "engine" for Changzhou to comprehensively improve the city's comprehensive competitiveness.
