Red flags are flying everywhere and activities are being held here and there as Jiangsu is gearing up for the celebration of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day amid the intensifying festive atmosphere.
Nanjing held a calligraphy, painting and photography exhibition to sing high of the motherland and the beautiful Jiangsu by displaying more than 170 works to express the sincere blessings to the great motherland and the beautiful Jiangsu. Chrysanthemums bloomed in the scenic spot of Huishan Ancient Town in Wuxi. Five-star red flags and red lanterns were hung in the streets, shops and parks of Zhenjiang, Taizhou, and Siyang, adding a touch of bright color to the urban scenery. One million pots of flowers are placed on the streets of Suzhou City, creating a joyous and peaceful festive atmosphere.
