East China’s Jiangsu province released on Monday the annual ranking of the top 100 private firms, the top 100 private manufacturing enterprises and the top 100 innovative private enterprises in Jiangsu.
Suning Holding Group, Hengli Group, and Zhongnan Holding Group are among the top three in the top 200 private enterprises in Jiangsu in 2020.
Hengli Group, Jiangsu Shagang Group, and Shenghong Holding Group are among the top three in the top 100 private enterprises in Jiangsu in 2020.
Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceutical, Trina Solar, and Jiangsu Hengtong Optoelectric Potential rank among the top three in 2020 Jiangsu Top 100 Innovative Private Enterprises.
The data shows that the threshold for the top 200 private enterprises ranking is 4.279 billion yuan.
The threshold for the top 100 manufacturing private enterprises reaches 7.034 billion yuan this year.
The total operating income of the top 200 private enterprises reached 6.5 trillion yuan, and the net profit after tax was 198.67 billion yuan. A total of 40 companies have taxed more than 1 billion yuan.
40 companies paid more than 1 billion yuan in taxes.
The top 200 private enterprises are distributed in the 13 prefecture-level cities. 53 companies from Suzhou made the list, ranking first in the province, followed by Wuxi and Nantong with 37 and 32.
Of the top 100 private firms, 76 are headquartered in southern Jiangsu, 17 in central Jiangsu and 7 in northern Jiangsu.
In the province's high-tech enterprises, 90% are private technology enterprises and 56% of the output value of the province’s high-tech industry is created by private enterprises, said Sun Bing, Dean of Provincial Science and Technology Development Strategy Research Institute.
