East China’s Jiangsu province will step up its efforts to renovate old residential communities in the urban areas in response to the policy of the State Council, according to a working meeting held Monday in Nanjing. Governor Wu Zhenglong sent a written message to the meeting. Vice Governor Fei Gaoyun addressed the meeting.
The renovation of old residential communities in the urban areas is a matter of great interest to the people, to the high quality development and to the high quality life, Wu Zhenglong said in the written message.
He called on the housing and urban-rural development to uphold the people-oriented approach, follow the policies and decisions of the 8th plenary session of the CPC Provincial Committee, implement the new development concept from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core so as to live up to people’s expectations and enhance people’s sense of gain, security and happiness.
Vice Governor Fei Gaoyun urged more efforts in the construction of beautiful and livable cities under the framework of the beautiful Jiangsu campaign by adhering to system thinking, strengthening classified implementation, and making forceful and orderly advancement.
