260 thousand pieces of protective clothing were uploaded onto the freighter train at the Lianyungang China-Kazakhstan Logistics Cooperation Base Tuesday morning to be ready for departure to Shanghai Cooperation Organization member countries in central Asia.
With the local customs facilitating the clearance procedures, the anti-epidemic clothing was released and will arrive at Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other SCO member countries in central Asia.
Lianyungang will continue to cooperate with the SCO countries to help each other and fight against the epidemic so as to increase mutual trust and support, and make positive contributions to the win-win cooperation of the Belt and Road initiative.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is an intergovernmental international organization founded in Shanghai on 15 June 2001 by six countries: China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
