East China’s Jiangsu province has launched a risk monitoring and early warning system for the safe production of hazardous chemicals. Fan Jinlong, member of the standing committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and executive vice governor, attended the launch ceremony on Wednesday.
Jiangsu took the lead in completing the construction of a dangerous chemical safety production risk monitoring and early warning system and the access to monitoring data of major hazard sources in the first and second tier enterprises.
The goal is to improve the digitalized, cyber, and intelligent mode of safety supervision of hazardous chemicals and implement hierarchical management and dynamic monitoring and early warning on enterprises, parks and emergency management departments at all levels.
The system will also effectively resolve major security risks and provide data support for emergency response.
Fan Jinlong urged relevant departments to actively participate in and vigorously support the construction of information technology for production safety, accelerate the realization of basic information sharing of the entire chain of hazardous chemicals, full life cycle safety supervision, and comprehensive supervision and coordination.
