A symposium on Sun Yat-sen's Industrial Thought and National Rejuvenation was held Thursday in Nanjing in concurrence of the 6th Council of the Sun Yat-sen Research Society of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang.
Zheng Jianbang, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Li Huidong, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, presided over the opening ceremony.
Zheng Jianbang emphasized that the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang should conscientiously study and implement the spirit of CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches, and guide its party members to follow the CPC's analysis, judgment and decision-making on the situation in terms of thoughts and actions.
We must combine the study and inheritance of Sun Yat-sen's spirit with the CPC’s theme education, and continuously enhance the confidence and determination to uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China and adhere to the new party system, he said.
Greater efforts should be made to improve our ability to perform our duties, continuously strengthen our own construction, and make due contributions to the Chinese dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, Zheng said.
Huang Lixin pointed out that the symposium is of great significance in terms of Sun Yat-sen's industrial thought and national rejuvenation.
She hoped that everyone will thoroughly study and implement the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, explore the connotation of Sun Yat-sen's industrial thought, and inherit and carry forward Mr. Sun Yat-sen's patriotism, revolution, and the spirit of continuous improvement so as to contribute more wisdom and strength to the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Zheng Jianbang was elected president of the 6th Council of the Sun Yat-sen Research Society of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang. Li Huidong was elected executive deputy president. Gao Xiaomei, Wang Hong and Chen Xingying were elected deputy president.
