East China’s Jiangsu province recalled 30.25 millionproducts of 257 kinds produced by 192 Jiangsu-based companies in a period from 2013 to the end of October this year, the provincial market supervision administration said on Wednesday.
Some of the defective products that are recalled are products that do not meet the national standards, and the other is products that meet the quality standards but have potential safety hazards.
For example, some children's clothing has a rope strap on the neck, which is easy to entangle and hurt the child. The beanie button is easy to fall off and is prone to be swallowed by children and suffocate children. These products are defective products and need to be recalled in time.

The recalled products mainly involve more than 30 types of consumer goods such as electronic appliances and children's products.
In the next step, Jiangsu will add more information monitoringsites to campuses, hospitals, communities, etc., to achieve rapid lock-in of defective products.Jiangsu is also mulling to promote the introduction of local legislation during the year.
