Second China International Import Expo attracts more countries to participate

  The second China International Import Expo, taking place Tuesday in Shanghai, has attracted more than 3,000 companies from over 150 countries and regions.

  In the first session of the Expo, there were 12 host countries, and the number has increased to 15 at the second session. At the same time, among the 64 participating countries at the national exhibition, 24 countries made their debut in addition to China.

  There are 24 Asian countries, 8 African countries, 17 European countries, 12 American countries, and 3 Oceania countries.

  The participating countries will make full use of traditional and high-tech means to focus on the country's cargo service trade, investment tourism, humanities and technology.

  At this year's fair, more than 250 of the world's Fortune 500 companies and leading companies brought a range of new products, new technologies and new services.

  On October 28th, the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Department opened a green channel for exhibitors such as Danone and Yashili, which has enabled special foods such as infant formula that entered China for the first time to increase the display time to 90 days.

  192 US companies are among the foreign companies that signed up for the second session of the Expo, an increase of 18% year-on-year, and the exhibition area reached 47,500 square meters, ranking first among all the participating countries.

  One of the important strategic investment initiatives in the first year after the first Expo, GE has launched its regional offshore wind power ecosystem in Guangdong, serving local and radiating Asia-Pacific.
