Wu said in November last year, at the opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo, General Secretary Xi Jinping announced support for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region as a national strategy. In May this year, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee reviewed the Outline of the Integrated Development Plan for the Yangtze River Delta. The national strategy and policy support have injected a strong momentum for both sides to deepen the cooperation and provided a major opportunity for further exchanges.
He hoped that Alibaba will further give full play to its advantages and actively expand new space for cooperation in the areas of government service and industrial Internet development, information infrastructure construction, urban governance and major risk prevention, promote the deep integration of digital economy and real economy, and high quality development for Jiangsu, make greater contributions to the development and creation of high-quality life, and work together with Jiangsu to promote the development of higher quality integration in the Yangtze River Delta.
The Governor pledged that Jiangsu will build a better business environment and fully support Alibaba's growth and development in Jiangsu.
Zhang Yong thanked Jiangsu for its long-term support for the development of Alibaba. He said that Jiangsu has a good development environment and great potential, adding that Alibaba will deeply integrate into the overall development of the province and promote more cutting-edge technologies, innovative models and quality projects to take root in Jiangsu.
