In the "Jingdong Smart City" located in Suqian E-Commerce Industrial Park, the seven UAVs newly developed by Jingdong Group have been put into logistics operation and training. These drones can be fully automated with only one staff member making supervision at the back stage. In the past, it would take the truck half an hour to deliver the package but now the drone can finish the delivery in 5 minutes.

The rapid development of Jingdong logistics technology is the result of the first Jiangsu Development Summit. Jingdong has invested 4 billion yuan in the Suqian E-Commerce Industrial Park to build the "Jingdong Smart City" project, which is dedicated to the research and development of various technologies such as drones, unmanned warehouses and unmanned vehicles.
Relying on hundreds of "unmanned" patented technologies, Jingdong has built a three-level unmanned aerial vehicle logistics system of "main line, branch line and terminal users".
