The 5G+ Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Innovation Conference kicked off Wednesday in Jiangning district of Nanjing to herald the start of the innovation week.
Relying on Nanjing ZTE's largest R&D base in the world, a batch of 5G+ intelligent manufacturing industry projects were signed, and the 5G+ intelligent manufacturing public technology service platform was unveiled. The "5G Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Zone" project jointly developed by ZTE, China Telecom Jiangsu Company and Jiangning District was also launched.
Nanjing and Suzhou has been included in the first batch of 5G pilot cities. In the development layout of the manufacturing-empowered province, the experts suggested on the empowerment of the 5G for intelligent manufacturing. 5G is not only a revolution in communication technology, the experts say. Relying on the advantages of large bandwidth, low latency and wide connectivity, the change will be extended from the consumer level to the industrial level, they added.
