Nearly 100 domestic and foreign financial institutions and technology innovation companies gathered in Suzhou to bring a feast for exploring the future development of financial technology as the 2019 Sino-Singapore (Suzhou) Financial Technology Application Expo opened in the city on Wednesday.
The 2019 Expo is based on the theme of “Technology Empowers Finance • Innovation Drives the Future”. The two-day exhibition will showcase new applications and new changes in financial services under the technologies of big data, artificial intelligence and 5G.
The Suzhou Industrial Park Administration signed contracts with CCB University and Standard Chartered Bank China. The Singapore Financial Technology Association also signed a strategic cooperation with the Suzhou Financial Technology Association. In the future, the two sides will use Suzhou as an innovation test base to help Suzhou become a highland for the financial technology industry.
As a regional financial highland, Suzhou Industrial Park has gathered more than 1,000 financial technology companies. This year, Suzhou Industrial Park has also set up a special financial and technological guidance fund with a total scale of 1 billion yuan to cultivate 10-15 super-financial financial technology leading enterprises in three years and gather more than 150 financial technology enterprises that have business cooperation with financial institutions. With an expected output value of over 20 billion yuan, these financial institutions will create a highland for financial technology innovation, service, demonstration, application and talent.
