
East China’s Jiangsu Province will reduce the minimum tax amount per square meter of urban land use tax in the province in a bid to further reduce the burden on enterprises. In large cities, the urban land use tax is reduced from 3 yuan to 1.5 yuan per square meter. The urban land use tax for medium-sized cities is reduced from 3 yuan to 1.2 yuan per square meter, and that for small cities is reduced from 2 yuan to 0.9 yuan per square meter. For county seats, towns, industrial and mining areas, the urban land use tax per square meter ranges from 2 yuan to 0.6 yuan. At present, the adjustment of the minimum tax amount for urban land use tax in the province has been completed. It is estimated that the annual tax cut will exceed 1.5 billion yuan.
