The second Digital China Summit opened Monday in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, offering a glimpse into the latest trends in digital technology that are rapidly penetrating the country's government departments and companies.
Jiangsu participated in the summit in the name of the guest province and organized the "Digital Jiangsu" achievement exhibition. 12 outstanding enterprises from Jiangsu showed up at the summit. The Jiangsu-Fujian-Guangdong-Guizhou Inter-provincial Big Data Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement was signed by Jiangsu Provincial Government Affairs Office with the big data management departments of Fujian, Guangdong and Guizhou Province.
In recent years, Jiangsu has accelerated the development of the digital economy, with more than 220,000 enterprises engaged in cloud businesses to produce more than 2,200 industrial applications. The province’s revenue of the Internet of Things business accounted for half of the country's total, and its digital economy exceeded 2 trillion yuan, ranking second in the country.
