Wu Zhenglong, Governor of Jiangsu, met Thursday in Nanjing with Lee Seok-Hee, Chief Executive and CEO of SK Hynix Co., Ltd. of South Korea.
Wu Zhenglong extended his warm welcome to Lee Seok-Hee and his party. He said that SK hynix is a global semiconductor industry leader and China is the world's largest semiconductor market. The SK Group and SK Hynix have a good foundation and a broad space for cooperation with Jiangsu. In particular, the Wuxi project has become the benchmark for cooperation between the two parties.
The Governor noted that in May last year, Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and Chey Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, reached a series of cooperation consensus. At present, cooperation between the two sides in various fields is vigorously promoted. The annual session of the National People's Congress approved the Foreign Investment Law of the People's Republic of China, and introduced policies and measures such as tax reduction and fee reduction. The integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta as a national strategy was also included in the government work report, which is expected to provide further impetus, great opportunities and strong momentum to the deepening of cooperation between the two sides.

He hoped that the company will launch more investment projects in Jiangsu, adding that the province will go all out to create a better business environment and work with SK Group and SK Hynix to create new glory in the new era.
Lee Seok-Hee said that SK Group and SK Hynix have achieved fruitful results in investment and development in Jiangsu. SK will build up its confidence in cooperating with Jiangsu and investing in Jiangsu, promote the construction projects to be completed and put into production as soon as possible, continuously expand cooperation areas, and share more development results with Jiangsu.
