The government work report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang at the opening session of the 13th National People’s Congress proposed to transform government functions for better services at the grassroots level by advocating that simple regulations are easy to follow; the government will establish a service evaluation system and that the creation of ceilings in funding to enable the retention of unused funds for scientific research. These reform measures have been hailed by NPC deputies and CPPCC members from Jiangsu.
Stimulating market vitality and focusing on optimizing the business environment is one of the important tasks of the government this year.
