At a press conference on Feb. 26, it was announced that the 2019 Suzhou International Tourism Exposition will be held from Mar. 8 to 10 in Hall B1-C1 of Suzhou International Expo Center.
The expo will focus on promoting diverse and high-quality cultural tourism. There will be three main exhibition areas: displaying tourism destinations, promoting tourism products and offering on-the-spot experience activities of special tourism projects. Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the expo will arrange nearly 1,000 standard booths.
Visitors to this year’s exhibition will have the chance to learn more about rich tourism resources in Suzhou and other 12 cities in Jiangsu Province. They can also gain insights into the scenic spots and local cultures of Guangzhou, Chengdu, Guilin, Ningbo, Horgos, Macau, and Taiwan. Exhibitors from countries such as South Korea, Argentina, Malaysia, Japan, and Sri Lanka will introduce their characteristic tourism products at the event.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization, as a co-sponsor, will help to attract more international exhibitors with high-quality tourism products.
