A ceremony was held Wednesday morning in Wujiang district, Suzhou city, for the construction of 39 large investment projects. Involving 28.3 billion yuan, these investment projects covers advanced manufacturing, modern services, livelihood, ecological protection, transportation infrastructure. The medical equipment project developed by a Suzhou-based company and the Shanghai Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will produce 30 sets of intelligent tumor radiotherapy systems annually to improve the level of localization and reduce the cost of treatment for patients. In 2019, Wujiang plans to implement 283 key projects with a total investment of 318.6 billion yuan. By tapping into the great opportunity of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region as a national strategy, Wujiang is poised to accelerate industrial transformation for the promotion of high-quality development.
