Job fairs were held across the province to offer jobs to returned migrant workers and would-be graduates as they are returning home for the spring festival holiday.
A job fair in Tinghu district of Yancheng city saw the hustle and bustle of job hunters. 148 enterprises showed up at the job fair to offer more than 5000 vacancies. Four venues were set up for large enterprises and major investment projects, ex-servicemen, startups and college student internship in a bid to provide personalized services and encourage more people to launch startups.
A job fair held in Jinhu County targeted poverty alleviation as many enterprises lowered the qualification threshold while raised the salaries for job seekers in a bid to attract the returned migrant workers.

In Sucheng district of Suqian city, more than 8,000 jobs were offered by enterprises of smart home manufacturing, textile and apparel, precision equipment, laser technology and many other industries.
In the meantime, authorities in Huai’an and Suqian have released preferential policies to encourage high-skilled professionals with senior titles and college graduates to return home, and promote high-quality economic and social development by increasing the amount of personal entrepreneurial loans, lengthening the loan period, issuing entrepreneurial subsidies, and rent subsidies for venues.
