East China’s Jiangsu province registered nearly 1.4 trillion yuan of tax revenue in 2018. With the vigorous promotion of various tax reduction policies, the province registered 472.4 billion yuan of annual tax reduction and exemption while 25.54 billion yuan of social security contributions fee and non-tax income were reduced and the export tax rebate reached 179.17 billion yuan. The amount of tax exemption ranks second in the country. 6.25 billion yuan of personal income tax has been cut since the reform was implemented two months ago.
The province ranks first in the country for the promotion of individual tax APP and special deduction information collection. With the reform of the national tax and land tax collection and management system, the province's taxation system has been streamlined by 60%, and more than 20 landmark tax-related matters have been streamlined and optimized. More than 90% of the transactions have been made "online", and the online approval rate is leading the country, further enhancing the taxpayers' sense of gain.
