The seventh session of the 13th Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee closed in Nanjing Wednesday afternoon after wrapping up its agendas.
Entrusted by Lou Qinjian, secretary of the provincial party committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, Chen Zhenning, executive deputy chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, presided over the closing meeting and delivered a speech.
Vice chairpersons Xu Zhongzi, Xing Chunning, Liu Handong, Qu Futian and Secretary-general Cheng Mengmeng attended the meeting.
The Regulations on Advertising in Jiangsu Province and the Regulations on the Registration of Real Estate in Jiangsu Province were passed by a unanimous vote at the meeting.
The work report of the standing committee of the provincial people’s congress was passed by a unanimous vote.
The shortlisted nominees for the presidium and secretary-general of the second session of the 13th provincial people’s congress were passed with a unanimous vote.
The meeting also reviewed the credentials of some deputies to the provincial people’s congress and passed the eight regional regulations submitted for approval by Nanjing and other prefectural cities.
