Wang Chen, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, met Tuesday in Yangzhou with Kyrgyz First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov, who is in China for the 6th China-Central Asia cooperation forum.
Wang Chen said that China and Kyrgyz are friendly neighbors joined by mountains and rivers. Last June, President Xi Jinping and President Sooronbai Jeenbekov announced the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, opening a new era of Sino-Kyrgyz relations. The two sides must conscientiously implement the consensus of the two heads of state and continuously deepen the cooperation of the "Belt and Road" to benefit the two peoples.
Boronov said that Kyrgyzstan cherishes the good-neighborly friendship between the two countries and is willing to actively participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road" and deepen cooperation in various fields.
