Governor Wu Zhenglong met Wednesday in Nanjing with Dr Axel Schweitzer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Germany’s ALBA Group.
Wu Zhenglong extended his warm welcome to Dr Axel Schweitzer for his visit to Jiangsu, adding that Jiangsu is an economic powerhouse and Jiangsu and Germany have carried out extensive cooperation, as is evidenced by the growth momentum of German-funded enterprises in Jiangsu, especially their advanced technology, innovative spirit and down-to-earth approach.
He noted that the ALBA Group is a world-renowned resource recycling and environmental service company with advanced technology and advanced concepts, which has laid the foundation for its cooperation with Jiangsu in such fields as atmospheric treatment, water treatment, solid waste treatment and hazardous waste treatment.
The Governor hoped that the ALBA Group will install more new technologies and new products in Jiangsu, so that more waste will be turned into treasures through recycling for mutual benefit and win-win and the joint promotion of high-quality development and a high-quality life.
He pledged that Jiangsu will provide a first-class business environment for the ALBA Group’s growth and development in the province.
Schweitzer said that the ALBA Group will speed up the promotion of existing projects, complete the commissioning and production efficiency as soon as possible, and put more new technologies and new projects in Jiangsu so as to promote in-depth cooperation with various regions to make more contributions to Jiangsu's ecological environment management and green low-carbon development.
