Ten Jiangsu firms were honored with varying prizes at the 7th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition that ended Saturday. Jiangsu has outshone other provincial level regions with the largest number of award-winning firms.
The China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is the largest, highest-level and most radiant entrepreneurial brand event in the country. In this year’s event, Jiangsu won 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes.
The new energy team from Suzhou Inn-mag Co. Ltd won the champion in the start-up group of the new energy industry. They designed and industrialized the world's leading new energy vehicles and rail transit drive motors with advanced new magnetic materials, and applied them to China CRRC, Korea’s Pohang and other well-known rail transit and automobile OEMs at home and abroad.
101 enterprises from Jiangsu were shortlisted for the national competition to compete in new energy, new material and electronic information sectors.
Through the provincial science and technology plan, bank credit, venture capital docking and other means, Jiangsu has provided strong support with the contesting teams. More than 20 award-winning companies have successfully listed on the Growth Enterprise Market or the "New Third Board", accounting for 11% of the total number of award-winning firms.
