East China’s Jiangsu province has laid out employment plan for college graduates by arranging not less than 1000 job fairs by next May, the provincial department of education said Wednesday.
562000 college graduates will enter the job market next year. 52000 of them are master degree and doctoral degree holders, 279000 are bachelor degree holders and 231000 are associate degree holders.
More than 10000 enterprises and organizations have posted online 1.12 million job vacancies catering to college graduates, up 3.8% from a year ago.
Most of the vacancies are offered by enterprises in the electronics, machinery, textile and garment, chemical and pharmaceuticals and transportation sectors.
The employment dividend brought about by the employment-driven development strategy, the continuous development of the Internet and IT-related industries, and the emerging growth of the new formats represented by new retail have jointly contributed an important guarantee for the employment of college graduates in the province.
