The 100th China-European freighter train pulled out of the station in Xuzhou city, Jiangsu province, on Monday. A cooperation platform for the China-European freighter train service was also launched in Xuzhou. With the goal of building a gathering point for China-European freighter train service in Jiangsu, Xuzhou has further deepened its strategic cooperation with the key cities along the “Belt and Road” and the core cities of the Huaihai Economic Zone, and improves the efficiency of the China-European freight train. 300 freighter trains are expected to be launched in Xuzhou by the end of 2019.
