The 2018 Healthy China Development Conference was kicked off Wednesday morning in Lishui District of Nanjing.
In his speech, Wu Zhenglong expressed his warm welcome to the leaders and guests on behalf of the provincial party committee and the provincial government. He said that the 2018 Healthy China Development Conference fully reflects the central government’s firm determination to implement the Healthy China strategy.
He said Jiangsu adheres to Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the guide, comprehensively implements the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, and regards the Healthy Jiangsu campaign as an important part of its high-quality development, and has achieved important phase results in health undertakings and industrial development.
The Governor hoped that this meeting will serve as an opportunity for Lishui district to take the concept of "big health and great health" as the guide, promote the development of health undertakings in response to the people’s needs, continue to enrich the supply of healthy products, increase the vitality of development in reform and innovation, and enhance the people's sense of access and happiness so as to give a better play to its demonstration role.
Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the CPPCC Provincial Committee, said the conference is characteristics of the times and has important practical significance with the theme of deeply implementing the Healthy China strategy, developing the healthy culture industry, and building a better life by implementing Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.
