52 teams from across the province entered the final of the "Start-up Jiangsu" Technology Entrepreneurship Competition that went underway on Thursday. Chang Ying and her husband Jose are one of the teams. Jose is a Dutch environmental expert. The husband and wife returned to Chang Ying’s hometown of Suzhou in 2011 to specialize in industrial waste water pollution control. This is the second year for the husband-wife team to participate in the competition. The "Start-up Jiangsu" Technology Entrepreneurship Competition is the largest, highest-level, and most extensive technology-based event in the province. It has gathered many outstanding entrepreneurial projects in Jiangsu for six consecutive years to set up a dream-like stage for small and medium-sized enterprises. In the past six years, the number of participating teams has increased year after year. This year, more than 4,300 teams and enterprises at home and abroad have signed up for the competition. Up to now, 24 award-winning companies have successfully listed on the stock market.
