A joint press conference was held by Suzhou Gardening and Greening Bureau and Suzhou Tourism Administration this morning, Aug.24. Reporters heard that a trial real-name online ticketing system will put into use in the Humble Administrator’s Garden and Lion Forest Garden since Sep.1. By then, visitors can book tickets online in advance. Pre-registered ID card or the QR code on message will be needed to enter the gardens. Those who enjoy preferential policies will need their ID card and relevant certificates.
Available booking accesses include Suzhou Garden Tourism Site, the official website of the Humble Administrator’s Garden and Lion Forest Garden, as well as online booking platforms include Tongcheng, Ctrip and Suzhou Travel. Group travellers can only buy ID-based tickets through Suzhou Garden Tourism Site and the official sites of the Humble Administrator’s Garden and Lion Forest Garden. After reservation, visitors can enter the gardens on the appointed day with their ID cards or QR codes on messages.
If pre-sale tickets are not used, refunds are available on the original reservation platform before 20:00 pm on the appointed day. Refund services will be closed overtime. Visitors will receive the refunds within 3 working days after the appointed day. If not, please call relevant customer services.
In addition, those who book online can enjoy a discount during trial period. Make reservation a day (or more) in advance and get 2 RMB cheaper each ticket. Tourists enjoying free policies, including senior citizens aged over 70, as well as citizens with annual cards can enter directly with relevant certificates. Service includes tourism consultation and ticket purchase assistance is available by the service windows near the main entrance of the scenic spot.
