East China’s Jiangsu province has shown relatively strong competitiveness in the AI industry with many indicators such as scientific research strength and results transformation leading the country, according to the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Report 2018 recently released by the China Science and Technology Policy Research Center of Tsinghua University. Jiangsu ranks the second in the country in terms of the talent input with a total of 19294 AI talents. Nanjing ranks the thirds among all the cities in the country with a total of 10,860 AI talents. Jiangsu also tops the national list with 73 supportive policies for AI development.
