Traffic violators in Nanjing will be able to pay their fines by scanning the QR code on the traffic ticket. The new regulation comes into effect on Monday.
The city’s traffic management authority has installed in the comprehensive service hall a special device printed with a QR code. The traffic violators can scan the QR code and pay their fines.
Traffic offenders can also pay their violation by scanning the QR code on the traffic tickets issued by the police.
Traffic violators are reminded to be cautious when scanning the QR code as cases of forging traffic tickets have been found earlier.
