The summer seminar on media communication for college students from both sides of the Taiwan Straits went underway from this week in Nanjing.
The event is organized by the office of Taiwan affairs of the provincial government and the international department of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation.
Li Weihua, deputy director of the provincial office of Taiwan affairs, extended his warm welcome to the Taiwanese students.
20 students from Jiangsu and Taiwan took part in the seminar with 16 students of media major recruited by Taiwan’s China Times Group and 18 from Nanjing University.
The students will attend all the activities before the seminar concludes on July 24th.
