On the occasion of the 116th anniversary of Nanjing University, the School of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing University was opened on Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University on May 20, marking the beginning of Nanjing University's journey to build a high level of artificial intelligence discipline. At the same time, it means that from this year onwards, those who would like to have the offer of Nanjing University can apply for the School of Artificial Intelligence.
According to sources, the School of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing University was officially established on March 5 this year which claims to be the first of its kind set up by a C9-league university.
After the opening ceremony, Nanjing University and Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone signed the Strategic Agreement on Co-Construction of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing University.
Nanjing University has also signed strategic cooperation agreements with three enterprises: JD, Ecovacs and Face++. Both the university and enterprises will cooperate to build the training base for students. Under the guidance of high-level teachers, students will carry out practical learning, so as to realize the smooth transition from school study to professional practice and to industry practice.
Prior to this, Nanjing local government and Nanjing University signed the school site integration docking project. A joint project of Nanjing government and Nanjing University, the School of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing University is an important part of the Master Program of Artificial Intelligence Science.
