The intercontinental cargo route from Incheon (ROK) to Wuxi (PRC) to Hahn (GER) made its maiden flight on May 18, 2018. This is Wuxi’s first and Jiangsu’s second intercontinental cargo route.
The route is operated by DHL Sino-Trans, using a Boeing 747 full cargo plane that can carry more than 100 tons of cargo per shift. Compared with transporting in Shanghai Pudong Airport, enterprises in southern part of Jiangsu Province can save one day of time and 500 yuan per ton if they export goods from Wuxi.
