The world’s largest offshore wind power construction platform Longyuan Zhenhua III was delivered in Nantong. Many key components of the platform, such as cranes, lifting systems, and dynamic positioning systems have been made domestically, marking China's success in breaking foreign technology monopoly and realizing the localization of large-scale wind power installation platforms.
With a length of 100.8 meters, a width of 43.2 meters and a depth of 8.4 meters, Longyuan Zhenhua III is a multi-functional self-elevating offshore wind power construction platform incorporating the hoisting, piling, and installation of large equipment. It is mainly used for offshore wind turbines, basic transportation and installation.
The platform has developed out of than 10 independent innovation technologies. The 120-meter-tall lifting height make it the world's largest self-elevating wind power construction platform. Equipped with a DP-1 dynamic positioning system, it can make the entire platform stand unmoved in the rough sea.
The maximum operating depth of Longyuan Zhenhua III is up to 50 meters, which has made China's offshore wind power operations reach a new depth, and is expected to become a key weapon for offshore wind power operations in China from shallow sea to offshore.
